Class Reflection

Class Reflection✎:

This English 102 class was very helpful and resourceful to me. I didn't really enjoy reading unless it was a book that I thought looked interesting or had a cool cover.  It had to be a book that really drew me into it. However, after taking this class I learned that their is more to literature then meets the eye. In high school, I only enjoyed reading Shakespeare and mythology. I still do but, I have grown a great appreciation for other types of literature. I really enjoyed this class because, I've always enjoyed English and I think I'm good at it. My favorite piece of literature that I read in English was the poem "Ah are you digging on my grave." This was my favorite piece of literature because I like the way it was told as a whole. I also thought the end was really entertaining because of the dog digging on the women's grave. My least favorite piece that I read in this class was "Ode to a Grecian Urn" because it didn't capture my attention and it was a little hard to understand for me.
Never the less, I would take this class again and I would recommend it to anyone.  Thank You Professor Candia!
